Amanda “Mandi” Wilks knew from the age of six that she would one day work in the medical field. As a result of some health issues, Wilks was hospitalized several times as a young child. She was inspired by the care she received by the medical staff and knew that one day she wanted to give back and help others.
Wilks joined DAK on November 3rd, 2003 after acquiring a Master of Medical Science and PA-C from Emory University 2001, following a Bachelor of Science from Georgia Southwestern State University in1999. She is married with three children and dog, and enjoys running, snow skiing, water sport activities, camping, and volunteer work with her church ministry.
