Dr. Miller is a medical dermatologist who enjoys treating patients of all ages for any and all diseases of the skin, ranging from the most common to the most complex conditions. He is a Knoxville native and third-generation physician who feels blessed to live out his calling in the daily practice of medicine. Dr. Miller has a keen interest in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cancerous and precancerous lesions of the skin; and he is trained in Mohs micrographic surgery, an advanced technique for skin cancer removal that achieves the highest possible cure rates compared to other methods.

Dr. Miller takes pride in combining an excellent training background with a compassionate, common sense approach to practicing dermatology. He chooses to limit the number of patients scheduled each day in order to maximize the quality of patient care, allowing the time necessary to thoroughly treat each patient while more often than not staying prompt and on time with appointments. He has been voted by his peers as one of Knoxville’s “Top Dermatologists” according to Cityview magazine, and he regularly volunteers his time to teach internal medicine residents and medical students from the University of Tennessee.

Dr. Miller received his B.A. degree with honors from Wake Forest University in 2002. He obtained his medical degree from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in 2006. From 2007-2010, he completed residency at Wake Forest Dermatology, which during his years of training was recognized as one of only eight “Centers of Excellence” in the country. He achieved his board certification from the American Board of Dermatology in 2010 and has been in practice since that time.

Dr. Miller resides in Knoxville with his beautiful wife and three beloved children. He is an active member in his church and enjoys mountain biking, golf, basketball, Norris Lake, and attending Tennessee football and basketball games. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Mohs Surgery, and a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgeons and the American Contact Dermatitis Society.
